Women’s Basketball Trainer | Player Development Coach

Heather Weindorfer-Izzi is a true basketball lifer and one of the most accomplished figures in women’s basketball in the Philadelphia region. With more than 20 years of coaching experience, Heather has made a lasting impact at both the high school and collegiate levels, including Bryn Athyn College, Gwynedd Mercy University, Lansdale Catholic, Central Bucks West, and her alma mater, Lower Moreland High School. She also spent a decade coaching Fencor AAU, leading her teams to seven Mid-Atlantic AAU championships.

As a player, Heather’s résumé is historic. She remains the all-time leading scorer at both the University of Hartford (1,780 points) and Lower Moreland High School (2,340 points) and currently ranks 40th all-time on Pennsylvania’s girls high school scoring list. Her career has earned her induction into the New England Hall of Fame, University of Hartford Hall of Fame, and Lower Moreland High School Hall of Fame.

Beyond the accolades, Heather is passionate about teaching the game the right way. She believes in putting the FUN in fundamentals, helping athletes develop strong skills, confidence, and basketball IQ in an engaging and positive environment. Her approach focuses on building complete, well-rounded players with no weaknesses, empowering young people to grow both on and off the court.
